Jonathan Buss
Jonathan Buss has over two decades of experience in title insurance. He began his career at First American as a state and national accounts underwriter from 1994 to 1998.
Jonathan serves as Senior Divisional Underwriting Counsel for National Commercial Services, focusing on transactions in Utah, Seattle, Portland, and Nevada. He also co-chairs the Agricultural Practice Group and contributes to the Native American Lands task force.
During his career in title insurance, Jonathan has instructed various continuing legal education courses for title professionals and real estate attorneys.
Meet Our Presenters
Kirk Strandjord
Kirk Strandjord, Senior Underwriting Counsel at First American Title Insurance Company's National Commercial Services division in Seattle, began his career as a commercial real estate attorney. He served the needs of medical offices, tenants, and mixed-use multifamily apartment developers.
Kirk later transitioned to collaborating with title insurers before joining First American. He now provides underwriting support nationwide, specializing in equity acquisitions, municipal land use regulations, and land development projects.
