Randy Scott 

Randall L. Scott, SVP & Counsel, serves as Managing Director - Strategic Accounts for the National Commercial Services division of First American Title Insurance Company. He also concurrently serves as President of the First American Title UCC Division.

Randall has extensive real estate title insurance and UCC (Uniform Commercial Code – Article 9) expertise. In addition to his sales, legal and management responsibilities, Randall provides seminars and presentations on topical commercial finance and real estate issues, including Article 9 of the UCC, mezzanine financing and various title insurance and underwriting matters.

Since joining First American in January 1999, Randall has held a variety of legal and management positions within the company. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Sales in August 2011, Randall had served as the Eastern Region Managing Director.

From 1980 through 1998, Randall was engaged in the general practice of law in Maryland, with an emphasis in the areas of business, commercial and real estate law.

Randall is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D. 1980), where he was a member of the Law Review and the Moot Court Board. He is also a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S. 1977), with a major in business administration.

Bradley Gibson 

Bradley Gibson is General Counsel for the UCC Division of First American Title Insurance Company. He has been with First American Title’s UCC Division since 2007.

Brad is a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers and has served as Vice Chair and Co-Chair of the Investment Securities Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee. He has also served on the Board of Governors of Southern California’s Financial Lawyers Conference. 

Brad is the author of My Dog Ate the (Security) Certificates...What’s the Big Deal? published in the September/October 2008 issue of Business Law Today, as well as Don’t Be Duped By A Duplicate Original published in the June 2013 issue of The Transactional Lawyer. 

Brad is a frequent speaker and panelist on various topics relating to Articles 8 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, including Taking Delaware Limited Liability Company Interests as Collateral for the Loan presented at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He has also testified regarding UCC insurance before the Banking, Commerce and Insurance standing subcommittee of Nebraska’s state legislature. 

Brad earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. 

Natalie Teramoto

Natalie Teramoto serves as Underwriting Counsel for the UCC Division of First American Title Insurance Company. She provides legal and underwriting support to the UCC Insurance underwriters. Natalie is an active member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and Financial Lawyers Conference. 

Natalie began her career at First American in December 2004 as a Law Clerk and transitioned into Claims Counsel for the Western Region of the Claims Services Division in 2007, where she handled title and escrow claims, managed complex litigation, and provided general legal support to different business divisions. 

Prior to joining First American, Natalie interned at American International Underwriters Limited in Hong Kong, a member of AIG. 

Natalie earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman Law School in Orange in 2006, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002.
